OTHER COLLECTIBLES & MERCHANDISE

This is a list of "other" official Moon Knight merchandise that I have acquired. Outside of the more obvious collectibles like toys and statues, Moon Knight has also been featured on things such as shirts, pins, patches, and even glassware. These collectibles vary in rarity and price, often as a result of their desirability amongst collectors. Many of these collectibles are difficult to find information on, and were acquired second hand from auction. When any category contains more than one entry, the most recent release will be listed first, and the oldest listed last. If you know of any other collectibles that I have not listed, Please email me some info.

FiGPiN

In 2020, FiGPin produced a Moon Knight pin for their Marvel line of enamel pins that are unique when compared to traditional collectible pins. The most noticeable difference is that they are considerably larger than traditional pins measure 3 inches tall (not including packaging). The pinback is also designed so that the pin can stand upright for display. Lastly, they come in a clear poly-carbonate display box. It appears to be a high-quality, claiming to be made of a 2mm thick cast zinc alloy with electroplated nickel coating. They chose to use corner box art from the Fist of Khonshu era for this pin. Moon Knight is #544, and was limited to only 2000 pieces. Its original retail pricing was $20.

Mondo Enamel Pin

In 2017, Mondotees released a Moon Knight enamel pin as part of a set that also included Ghost Rider. Its 1.14 inches in size and was designed by Tom Whalen. It is described on the site as "Double-post on shiny silver nickel with butterfly clutch backings." It's a particularly great pin, and even its packaging is designed to make it look like a classic corner box.

Scottie Young Comicon 2016 Exclusive Pin

In recent years, it has become a common occurrence for Marvel to release a set of exclusive pins at the various comicons around the country. In 2016, the exclusive San Diego comicon set was released featuring designs based on the work of Skottie Young. One of those pins was of Moon Knight, and was based on the variant cover Young had done for the Moon Knight series earlier. It is a rather large pin, and has become quite rare to come by in recent years.

image image

2015 Licensed Pins

I don't know too much about these pins, except they appeared around 2015, and were available on multiple sites, all of which claimed these to be officially licensed. One is from the cover of Vengeance of the Moon Knight 1 by Leinil Yu, and the other features art of Mark Texeira.

image image

1989 Planet Studios Pin

During the late 80's and early 90's a company called Planet Studios made a large assortment of Marvel licensed cloisonne pins. In 1989 they released a Moon Knight Themed pin. The pin features a full character depiction as well as comic-panel styled narration and elaborate sound-fx letters. It stands out compared to other pins in the series. This is one of the rareist pieces of Moon Knight merchandise I have ever had to search for. It rarely appears for sale, and is often quite expensive when it does.

image image

Vintage 1985 Pin

I can't find much concrete information about this particular pin. All I can say is that it has a date of 1985 on the underside, and that I have seen enough of them on eBay over the years to comfortably say it was mass produced, and likely an official product, not a custom item. Being from 1985 makes this the earliest of all the official pins that I have discovered.

Not much is known about any of the patches on this site. image

Infinity Crusade Poster

This 1993 Marvel released this promotional poster for the third Infinity War crossover. It reprints the cover of issue #1, which features Moon Knights head on it. image

Trial of Marc Spector Ad

This 1990 Ad from Marvel was sent to retailers to promote the Trial of Marc Spector story event that would appear in Marc Spector Moon Knight #15-18. image

Marvel Requirer Ad Poster

This 1989 Ad from Marvel was disigned to mimic the tabloid visual style of the time. It advertised numerous new Marvel titles including Moon Knight. This would have been around the start of the Marc Spector: Moon Knight ongoing series. Interestingly enough, it features gold on Moon Knight's costume, which did not exist in the Marc Spector ongoing series, but rather is a carryover from the mid 80's Fist of Khonshu era.

image

Defenders 1978 Poster

This poster was released in 1978 and depicts the full roster of the team at that time. This was during Moon Knight's short stint on the team, so he got a front and center depiction on the team. SHIRTS & CLOTHING

image

image image

Bootleg/Chinese Moon Knight Jacket

This is an interesting item. Not much info can be found on it, as it only seems to be sold a few places, the most prominent of which is eBay. As far as I can tell it is an unlicensed Chinese production. It is also hard to establish exactly when this was produced. The material is similar to that of exercise clothing / track suits. The material is heavy, synthetic, thin, and shiny in the right light. It is poor quality, and has a industrial/factory odor to it.

image

Moon Knight 2014 Cover Shirt

Impact Merchandising released a shirt recreating the cover to 2014's Moon Knight #1 by Ellis and Shalvey. It's particularly difficult to date shirt releases because so few of them include dates on their tags.

image

Marvel Civil War Mad Engine Shirt

Mad Engine Released a Civil War themed shirt depicting a plethora of Marvel characters, including Moon Knight. It's particularly difficult to date shirt releases because so few of them include dates on their tags.

image

Talking Tops Moon Knight Shirt

As far as I can tell, the first ever shirt featuring Moon Knight was this one, released by Talking Tops and licensed by Marvel in 1990. I haven't found much more information on this shirt, or the company. As one can imagine, finding this shirt was quite a challenge. I pretty much waited on eBay for years to provide me with one. The result was too small to wear, and noticeably used. Needless to say, it is one of the rareist Moon Knight items I own.

image image

Moon Knight Ata-Boy Magnet

Ata-Boy produces a variety of licensed items from pins to magnets. Their extensive Marvel property productions included this magnet featuring the cover of Moon Knight's first appearance in Werewolf by Night #32. There are plenty of Moon Knight magnets online, but few of them are officially licensed by Marvel. Unfortunately, I don't have a date for production, but it was between 2010 and 2017.

image image

Advanced Graphics Marvel Extreme Full Size Stand-Up

One of the more interesting additions to my collection is this "life size" Cardboard standup by Advanced Graphics. As part of a line titled Marvel Extreme, Advanced graphics produced numerous large cardboard standups using existing production art. Moon Knight was #1798, and stands 74" tall, and 38" wide. It features art from Mark Texeira. Unfortunately, I don't have a date for production, but it was between 2010 and 2017.

image image

Tarrochi "La Luna" Tarot Card

This is one of the most unique and bizarre Moon Knight collectibles in existence. It honestly is probably the rarest item in my collection. In 1995, Italian manufacturer Tarocchi created a set of Marvel Tarot Cards. Each card featured unique art and a form factor considerably larger than American collectible cards, but more appropriate for their intended use. This card, titled La Luna, was #18 in the set. Usually entire sets go for anywhere between $200 and $1000, so I felt very lucky to find someone selling just the Moon Knight card.

image image

Marvel Universe Stickers - Moon Knight #17

In 1986, Comic images released a set of Marvel Universe Stickers. The stickers are roughly 1-7/8 inches by 2-5/8 inches. There were 77 Stickers in this set, and Moon Knight was #17. Only the Marvel imprint is seen. There was an album reelased as well for the stickers.

image image

Moon Knight Portfolio by Bill Sienkiewicz

In 1981, Bill Sienkiewicz released a limited edition portfolio featuring 4 plates/prints of Moon Knight. The images are black and white images measuring 11x14 inches. The production run was limited to only 1,500 units. Due to their age, over time they have become increasingly rarer. This is one of my favorite Moon Knight collectibles.
